Page Two. Our First Day in Spain, in Madrid

We were delayed leaving New York, and arrived at Hotel Mora late enough that we were allowed to check in to our rooms. We took a nap for a few hours to help us deal with the jet-lag, and then we went to the modern art museum. When the museum closed at 9:00 p.m. we went for a walk through Madrid and had some food to eat.

The next day we went to the Prado Art Museum.

This was our first experience of Spain and our first chance to walk around Madrid. We were able to get along well, and we felt good about our visit here.
