Here is our family along with two of Arthur’s friends, celebrating Arthur’s birthday. Arthur was happy to hold his birthday dinner at Kikus. Sebastian was learning to drive, so he drove the van sometimes this spring.

This is the Blue Hole of the Little Miami River in Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. The blue heron is looking into the rushing water of the Little Miami River. A Jack-in-the-Pulpit. We saw many of these in John Bryan State Park.
Hopewell Culture Mounds Ground at Hopewell National Historic Site Hopewell Mounds
Arthur, Eric, and Sebastian on the grounds of the Hopewell mounds near Chillicothe, Ohio. The bare spot behind us was possibly a center of devotion and ceremony. Sebastian and Jeri at a spot that was probably a sacred center for the Hopewell culture 2,000 years ago.
